How long does it take to complete Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is a massive game, spanning two discs and requiring a hard drive capacity of at least 150GB. With such sizeable proportions, it’s no surprise that players can expect to invest considerable time immersing themselves in its world. Now that the game review embargo has lifted, we can delve into specifics, such as how long it takes to complete Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.

Comprising about fourteen chapters, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth follows a pacing similar to its predecessor, Remake. However, unlike Remake’s confinement to Midgar, Rebirth introduces an expansive open-world landscape. Here, players can explore every nook and cranny, assist Chadley in completing World Intel tasks, and engage in various other activities.

How long is the main storyline of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth?

If we focus solely on breezing through the story, the expected time to beat Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is around 40 hours. This estimate is based on my calculation that each chapter in the game could take approximately 2-3 hours to complete, assuming minimal exploration.

Look for as much World Intel when exploring

How much time does it typically take to achieve 100% completion in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth?

Completing everything in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth would require at least over 100 hours of gameplay, given the abundance of content in the game. This includes sidequests, mini-games, leveling characters up to 70, and tackling combat simulator challenges. Completing all the World Intel across the five available regions in the game can take around 3 hours, in addition to the time it takes to progress through the main storyline.

Play the Queen’s Blood

Which activities in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth tend to consume the most playtime?

While playing through the game, I was deeply engrossed in Queen’s Blood. Challenging every NPC, collecting Legendary Cards, and competing in tournaments at Gold Saucer has become quite addictive. Additionally, there are numerous other time-consuming activities to pursue, such as achieving high scores in mini-games at Gold Saucer, dominating Chocobo Racing, tackling challenging battles at Fort Condor, and engaging in various mini-games involving Chocobo gliding through Cosmo Canyon, among others. As highlighted in our review, the plethora of side activities can be overwhelming, so I recommend taking your time and not rushing through them.

Why write about how long it takes to complete a game you haven’t played and need to guess at conjectured estimates per chapter? Complete clickbait junk that anyone could write

Playground Games Confirms 15-to-20 Hour Campaign for Fable Reboot Playground Games has confirmed that the upcoming Fable reboot will feature a mainline story lasting between 15 and 20 hours. Speaking during a group press session at Gamescom 2026, associate game director Will Kennedy outlined the scope of the project, stating that the central questline is paired with a similar 15-to-20-hour block of side quests and open-world exploration. Beyond authored content, the developers emphasized that the title’s simulation and life systems allow for indefinite play depending on player investment. Full coverage of the interview context can be found in Polygon’s developer Q&A. This targeted duration keeps the reboot in line with the structure of Lionhead Studios' original trilogy rather than the massive scale of modern role-playing games. The 2004 original averaged roughly 12.5 hours for its main path, while Fable II and Fable III clocked in at approximately 13 and 13.5 hours respectively. By keeping the core path concise, Playground Games appears focused on density and narrative pacing rather than padding out the experience with mandatory filler. Community reception to the announcement has leaned positive, particularly among veteran players who prefer tightly structured campaigns over 100-hour commitments. As discussed in a active Reddit community thread, many players welcomed the focused runtime, noting that the series' signature alignment shifts and choice-driven paths naturally encourage multiple playthroughs. The game’s optional activities will include property ownership, local employment, and dynamic NPC interactions, extending gameplay well past the main story credits. Following previous delays, Fable is scheduled to launch on February 23, 2027, for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
