Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP to Feature Revamped Combat

Yoshimi Yasuda, game designer for Lollipop Chainsaw RePop, confirmed the upcoming rerelease will revamp its original combat system.

According to their X (Twitter) post, players can expect the new version to feature the following improvements.

We would like to revamp the battles into something that console action game players of today will enjoy, such as doing away with any sluggishness in chainsaw battles with speed adjustments, improving the input timing for cheerleading and chainsaw combo attacks, as well as improved camera movement.

These sound like a welcome improvement and likely part of reason Lollipop Chainsaw RePop was delayed to 2024. Back then the reasoning was related to ensuring the best release possible, with this likely being part of that commitment.

Those who haven’t experienced the original, or would just like more information about Lollipop Chainsaw RePop can find the Xbox 360 official overview below.
