PlayStation Stars March 2023 Campaigns Revealed

As we head into Mar., a new set of campaigns were revealed for PlayStation Stars. These include a couple changes, along with the campaigns we’ve come to expect from the program.

Starting off we have a new monthly collectible for playing any PlayStation 4/5 game. This is the first month that doesn’t feature the T-Rex from the original PlayStation Tech Demo. Instead, it’s a “Robbit,” which PlayStation fans might recognize for the iconic Jumping Flash! This isn’t the first time Sony did something major with the title, last time it was featured on the ill-fated PlayStation Classic, though it was likely chosen due to this being the Year of the Rabbit. It’s a bit late, the year started on Jan. 22, but it might just be the start of a new rotation of collectibles.

Joining it is another fighting game arcade machine that can be unlocked by playing Guilty Gear -Strive-, Mortal Kombat 11, Tekken 7, Street Fighter V, Injustice 2, or Dragon Ball FighterZ. This months “hard game” collectible is for beating Avion in Shadow of the Colossus. Early PlayStation VR2 owners can also unlock a special collectible to show they were there at the start.

Purchasing Powerwash Simulator, Season: A Letter to the Future, Sifu, Like a Dragon: Ishin!, Octopath Traveler II, or Resident Evil 7 Gold Edition & Village Gold Edition this month will unlock an additional 50 points. Higher tier PlayStation Plus subscribers can also gain another 50 points by playing Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, NBA 2K Playgrounds 2, Tekken 7, Terraria, The Last Guardian, or Erica this month.

At this time it isn’t known if there will be a 24 hour campaign, or something that celebrates a special franchise, but make sure to check back later in the event it happens.
