Destiny 2 and Assassin's Creed Collaboration Announced

Destiny 2 and Assassin’s Creed Collaboration Announced [Updated]

Destiny 2 and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will both receive cosmetics and items inspired by their respective games.

For Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, a number of things were datamined following the last patch. These include the Lord Shaxx and Saint-14 armor pictured above, along with a Gjallarhorn inspired sword, plus a few light based powers. YouTuber MAK Moderator uploaded a video showcasing some of these things in action.

As for Destiny 2, we will likely get more information later today with This Week at Bungie, but the teaser image suggests costumes inspired by various titles. Warlock’s seem to have a general hood design, similar to Altaïr Ibn-La’Ahad, from the original title. The shield design and overall look of the Titan armor is similar to the protagonist in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Finally, Hunter’s seem to be inspired by Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, with roman helmet. There will likely be more, like the Ghost, Sparrow, and dropship pictured.

Expect these to drop, or at least more information, on Dec. 6.

Update: Blog post went live after we posted offering some additional insight into these items.

The worlds of Assassin’s Creed and Destiny are about to collide with a crossover that will bring Destiny-themed items to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, and Assassin’s Creed-themed cosmetics to Destiny 2. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla players can purchase a Destiny 2-themed character pack, which includes armor sets, swords, a scout skin and a mount skin. Players can also grab a weapons pack which includes four unique spins on Destiny’s iconic subclasses, each with their own gameplay perks and custom effects.

As Destiny 2 begins its next Season on December 6, players will be able to visit the Eververse store to get their hands on Assassin’s Creed-themed ship, Sparrow, Ghost, and finisher cosmetics, as well as three armor ornament sets.

The items debut in both games on December 6, so get ready to gear up and roll through Savathûn’s Throne World looking like a hero out of history, or to bring a Titan’s fashion sense to ninth-century England.
