AI Usage in Games

AI usage in games has been a big issue in the current years, thankfully people really hate AI, as evidenced by multiple studies including a recent one by Ross Burton from Game Oracle. Thankfully the number of AI slop usage has been reduced substantially, and most of the games using it are vapid sex games that hold no meaning at all, not even as material. Aside from baiting and causing confusion to people via misinformation, generative AI has no clear uses that benefit humanity, not to mention that the whole business model does not exist at all, they in fact bleed money.

AI usage in games is lazy

Not only is it lazy, but nobody wants to interact with AI slop, people are tired for having to endure this, and some want the entire thing to collapse altogether, including stuff that isn’t even generative. Yet here we are, not doing enough to stop corporations from ruining the environment trying to generate something that does not look like a nightmare. Not to mention all of the pillaging that has been happening in the biggest copyright violation and IP theft of history. Yet the only thieves punished are those who can’t afford food for some reason.

We live in quite a crazy reality right now, those who hold control over many of our resources are telling us that we don’t need them. At the same time, that very same people also tells us that doing what we like is inconvenient and tiresome, it is insane that people like this exists but those are billionaires for you, and we need to do something. By not buying and instantly pressing ignore in “games” like this, it hurts the algorithm of scammers who try to get away by stealing from other people. Products made in this way shouldn’t even be considered as worthy of your money, even the most vapid asset flip holds more value.
