Fellowship is a very interesting cooperative game for PC, and this new season teased by a trailer might be the reason the game explodes in popularity if all stars align. It is safe to say however that it might remain a niche game since it is still an early access product that needs to be finished. At the same time, the game also deals with issues like a Kernel Level Anti Cheat that can put your computer at risk if you don’t know what you are doing. Even if you know what you are doing, I would recommend to get your hands on the game if you ask me.
Fellowship gets bigger
New season means new content and new stories to be told, and it might also imply new gameplay mechanics if it is one of those games that get crazy with changes. Oftentimes the season content model ends up helping a ton of games like Fortnite, however other games ends up getting in a bad position due to it, because sometimes seasons are good while others end up being terrible. I personally don’t like games of this kind, but I found it worthwhile that this game exist because it provides something unique in the genre, a WoW like experience if you ask me.
Aesthetically, Fellowship looks pretty inspired in games like World of Warcraft, which is kinda crazy considering Blizzard still keeps making that game. Of course, there’s proper legal distinctions and it isn’t all the same, the gameplay is also pretty different and what matters the most are the focus on raid battles as this is no MMORPG. If you are a fan of going with a group of friends and slaying a huge monster, I feel like Fellowship might be down your alley. If not you can always wishlist it.
