Helldivers 2 Version 01.000.100 Includes a Lot of Nerfs

Helldivers 2 released its first balance patch, which is being met with a large amount of criticism in the community due to the wide range of nerfs.

The most notable example being RS-422 Railgun, which was the stand out weapon of base Helldivers 2. Following the patch it has reduced armor penetration in safe mode, along with doing less damage to breakable parts. Players are still testing, though reddit comments suggest three max damage shots are now needed to break a Chargers armor.

While time will tell how these changes go over, there were a couple notable fixes as well. First and foremost, armor was fixed. For those unaware, previously it did not matter what your armor rating was as they had the same resistance. It was not confirmed what it was previously set at, but this should mean there is a benefit to running heavy over light. Certain bug nests were also made easier to destroy, along. with weapon buffs should push more variety going forward.
