Survios, in collaboration with 20th Century Games, is thrilled to announce the launch of Alien: Rogue Incursion, now available for PSVR2 and PCVR via Steam.
Set in the iconic Alien universe, Alien: Rogue Incursion immerses players in a gripping VR experience as they assume the role of rogue Colonial Marine Zula Hendricks. The mission takes Zula to the remote planet Purdan (LV-354) in search of a missing squadmate. Following an unexpected attack, Zula and her AI companion, Davis 01, find themselves trapped in Gemini Exoplanet Solutions’ eerie, abandoned research facility known as Castor’s Cradle.
Armed with iconic tools like the Pulse Rifle and Motion Tracker, players will explore the Xenomorph-infested facility’s haunting depths. The mission quickly escalates as players uncover the deadly secrets hidden within its walls. Along the way, they’ll gather vital intel and supplies while unraveling the fate of the Cradle’s former inhabitants, piecing together the mystery of what went disastrously wrong.
“It’s an honor for the Survios team to bring the gritty and outright terrifying Alien universe to the immersive medium of VR for the first time, capturing the haunting atmosphere fans know and love,” said TQ Jefferson, Chief Product Officer at Survios. “Alien and VR could not be a more perfect match, and we’re extremely proud to add this original story to the 45-year legacy of the Alien franchise.”
Alien: Rogue Incursion is now available for PlayStation VR2 and PC via Steam. A Meta Quest 3 version is slated for release early next year. Additionally, development is underway on part two of Rogue Incursion, promising even more excitement for fans.
