Over the Hill looks great, and it will be coming in October 14th of 2026, at least that’s what the trailer reveals to us players. It will be releasing in multiple platforms, but the only one that matters is PC, after all, pretty much everything except for the Nintendo catalogue releases on PC. The only console worth buying is usually coming from the hands of Nintendo, but with their current anti consumer practices it is hard to support them too. In today’s trying times for gaming, we need to stick together and support small creators who wanna provide us with their cool and unique ideas.
Over the Hill coming soon
If you really are into 4×4 vehicles from the 60s to the 80s, Over the Hill will provide something unique for you, as this is pretty much an offroading simulator that offers a lot of depth for people passionate about these things. There is a lot of places to explore, and the minimalist looking world will definitely run in some weaker hardware provided you don’t have a good enough PC. It literally is running on older versions of DirectX, and for minimum requirements it only asks that you have integrated graphics of the past 5 to 7 years. It is very accessible.
I feel like games like this will be a great thing to aim for because huge triple A games will keep selling less and less due to lack of hardware. This won’t last forever, as the faux industry that is propelling these hardware prices will soon find that reality is not what it wants it to be. We already heard the rumble of stocks falling and crisis in South Korea, its only a matter of time for when financial crisis hits home, and Over the Hill will keep us company in our old PCs that still run.
