This figure comfortably surpassed the series’ previous Steam record, which was established by Assassin’s Creed Shadows with 64,825 players during its early 2025 release window. Furthermore, the remaster’s initial player count represents a sixfold increase over the peak engagement metrics recorded by the original version of Black Flag over a decade ago.
