Assetto Corsa Rally became a way bigger game thanks to this new update, the amount of things they add was something the base game should have had, but it seems that sometimes implementing things like this just don’t happen. Considering we are speaking about version 0.6, there is a long way to go with this game until we can say its development truly finished. Three new cars have been added to the roster, the Audi Quattro from 1980 being perhaps one of the additions I like the most. And if you ignore the cars, then fans of photo modes will rejoice by knowing this update gives this feature to the game.
Assetto Corsa Rally gets bigger
Not to mention that there is also a huge upgrade when it comes to customization, as the ability to upload your own custom liveries has been added. It really feels like a thing that will make modders stay away from hacking the game apart, but I’m not really sure that will hold them back from doing so as the game is still incomplete and mod makers really like creating their own things. I feel like a healthy game is one that has a healthy modding community nowadays, and Assetto Corsa Rally might really benefit from one.
The series isn’t a stranger to mods, and in fact the fans even have their own pages for uploading the things they create so they can share them between users. I wonder if the same fate will befall this new entry in the Assetto Corsa series, people really seem to love the realism provided by this game. So far, Assetto Corsa Rally looks like one of the most realistic entries to date and it seems that they will keep working on this one for the foreseeable future. I can’t wait to see this project become huge.
