Horror game with Malware and “AI” gets removed from Steam to the surprise of no one, there has been tons of attempts by “AI“users to take over the computer of other people via images and software generated by the slop machine. Aside from the fact that “AI” users don’t really care about ethics as a whole, most of the time they also become crime perpetrators because they have started to degenerate as human beings. The game won’t be mentioned in this article for obvious reasons, due to the fact that its dangerous and also uses “AI” to be made, so its nothing of value.
Horror game with Malware and AI removed
Steam did the right choice, but I can’t help to think that maybe they should enforce control over this kind of content in the same way that they try to remove “Adult” content from storefronts. “AI” Generated slop is wasteful and makes navigating the store harder trying to search for something good, as you just have to click on something to see if it uses any form of Gen “AI” by scrolling to the bottom. I have a feeling that the quality of Steam as a whole is decreasing exponentially, so maybe it should be time to enforce something new.
Valve could force the scammers to put some sort of indicative in the capsule image of the game, that there is some sort of “AI” usage involved, that way people can make informed choices without having to waste time to check if something is using it by scrolling to the disclaimer. Maybe even the popup of the game capsule should display a bright red warning for things like this. And most importantly, things like the horror game with malware and “AI” seem to be becoming a common issue, Valve should be more careful about credential stealers like this.
