Hasbro is known to be a pretty bad company, they are very detached from reality and have even pushed for stuff like gen “AI” into one of the most creative hobbies in the world to attempt stifling the creativity of people. Now they have cancelled a project they had under the hood, and fans are very saddened to know that maybe it could have been a good game considering that director Stig Asmussen was involved with the project, along with studio Giant Skull. This is a big loss for gaming and CRPG enthusiasts, and yet another lose for TTRPG enthusiasts who also love video games.
Hasbro did things wrong
Maybe it was the budget, or perhaps maybe it was the fact that they don’t wanna make these anymore, the industry is in a very complicated position right now, and decisions have to be taken. There’s a big chance a round of layoffs will come for the people involved in the game and some others considering that these years have been very ruthless against the hard working people in the medium. So many of them have been forced to leave, some of them even suffering severe health problems like cancer (looking at you Epic Games).
Hasbro is yet another one of those massive companies that genuinely does not care about what happens to the quality of products, nor does it care on how the employees feel about any of this. Let alone, they don’t even care about what you think of them as a consumer, in fact they don’t even register you as a person but a money pumping machine. The best thing we can do is just boycott Hasbro, because they have ruined pretty much anything they touch and continue to do so, Wizards of the Coast might be at fault for some things, but Hasbro is even worse.
