Stone Keeper: King Aurelius

Stone Keeper: King Aurelius is gonna get delisted very soon, but the developers have decided that the game should go free during this period before it goes away. This is a nice gesture, and the main reason they are doing this is because they think the whole game needs to be overhauled and reworked. It might be weird for some, but sometimes when you are inexperienced there is no way you can return to your old code and fix it. Projects sometimes need to be re-coded from scratch, because the source code is terrible to look at and comprehend, something nobody wants.

Stone Keeper: King Aurelius free to keep

You have until September 14th to put this game in your library free of charge, so you still have time but maybe you should do it now before you can never do it again. The developer assures that this will be an important game on the series, so even if it gets wiped out the story is canon. While I think this decision might be a bit odd, developers can do what they desire with their games as long as they come from their own hands. I trust this team, and the game looks awesome, hopefully they make something even greater.

Stone Keeper: King Aurelius is a strategy game in a similar vein to the Heroes of Might and Magic series but it also has its own unique elements. Indie projects like this are what keeps things flowing in the gaming industry because we need something original that breaks the monotony of photo realism. There is a ton of games out there, and this one going for free means that there will be more people playing it. Not to mention that preserving Stone Keeper: King Aurelius is now easier than ever due to this.
