A prolific Call of Duty cheat maker is currently under legal attack by Activision, this is great for people who care about the integrity of the PC game. It also shows that there is a ton of power coming from big companies and it can get quite scary if you ask me. No company should be able to film a perpetrator while doing legal proceedings with them, alas, this is a common fear tactic used to enact power over the general populace. Cheaters suck, don’t get me wrong, but I feel like this could have been fixed in a better way to makes everyone win.
Call of Duty cheaters in trouble
Not being able to provide hacks for this game will be a huge hit to the cheating community, and for people who wanna play this game in a competitive way this is some amazing news. Honestly, it feels like a win despite the methods used, and it is very interesting to see Activision making a move because they often never cared about doing so. Alas, we need to remember that this is the same company who peddles AI slop in the newest entry, and there is also a million options that are much better than Call of Duty.
It still surprises me that people care about this game series despite the fact that there is many better franchises out there if you want a team based PVP shooter game. You can still play Team Fortress 2 and it still remains an amazing game with an active community, tons of maps, and also tons of modes and even mods to expand the experience. If you are serious about shooter games like this, then you can also go out of your way to play online modes for Quake and even old DOOM servers if you ask me.
