Winexy is free to keep before the offer runs out in June 5th, so you gotta be quick before the game rolls away from your grasp. This PC game seems to be inspired by those old physics puzzle games where you need to lead a ball to the end of the stage, however reception seems rather mixed. Considering it is free for now, I feel like we can ignore the score of the game and just go for it because chances like this don’t pop up often. If you are a picky player, maybe you won’t be adding it to the library, but free stuff is hard to pass up on.
Winexy is free
Sometimes when someone gifts you something like this, you don’t have to look too hard to find flaws because its cool. It is very rare for triple A developers to gift stuff, so this is yet another boon of following independent developers who want to make a mark in the medium. While Winexy is rather clunky, some even report that its also pretty buggy, despite them enjoying the experience a bit. Considering its free, maybe we can just let it slide by because there’s buggier triple A games that go for a highway robbery price compared to Winexy.
It seems that all of these projects made by the same developer sit in the mixed ratings, which is rather sad because there wasn’t a new game for them since 2019. Maybe they gave up and thought the medium wasn’t for them anymore, but if someone at Heaven Brotherhood is reading this, perhaps it would be a good idea to take another shoot with some small game that has the fundamentals down. Maybe it won’t be that successful but its better to leave a stronger mark rather than one that is middling at best.
