Nocturnal looks like quite the amazing exploration game to play on PC, the sequel will focus on metroidvania elements cause it feels like a good evolution for the game too. Currently you can get the first part for free to see if you would like to buy the second one, this is a very popular tactic right now, developers giving away the first part of a long series to keep them coming back for more. And I think its working if you ask me, because it ends up generating more sales for when the time is right, especially when the first game is a cliffhanger.

You have to be quick before the offer ends in the 26th of this month, because if you aren’t I don’t think this chance will pop up any time soon. So dig into your Steam library, go to the store page, and just grab the game while you can because you aren’t gonna be disappointed. Tactics like this have been happening since Intravenous did the same with the first game, and honestly I’ve been hooked in the story and lore of that game since they did that, it was like giving me a free shot to see if I would get hooked.
The developers behind Nocturnal are trying the same exact tactic, and I feel like it will work, I just got the game myself and I will be trying it out to see how it goes. I like games of this kind so I have a feeling it will be extremely good, but I have yet to determine that by playing it. If you are curious about getting into the series, it can never be better than getting in for free. And if you like it, wishlist Nocturnal 2 so it gets a future boost.
