Wired Productions, and Angry Demon Studio intense hack and slash experience, Gori: Cuddly Carnage is now available on PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One/Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

In honor of the release, Angry Demon Studio Co-Founder, John Kalderon, gave his thoughts on the experience.

We’re excited to announce that our cat on a hoverboard is ready to hit the streets—Gori: Cuddly Carnage is launching today across all major platforms! Imagine if a Death Metal band ran their tour bus into a toy store—that’s the chaotic, colourful, and adrenaline-pumping experience we’ve crafted. Our team has poured our hearts into creating this game which blends fast-paced hoverboarding action with intense combat in a world that’s as wild as it is fun. We hope you enjoy playing Gori as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it. Thank you for your support!

For those who haven’t kept up with Gori: Cuddly Carnage can find the official overview below. An expanded overview can be found in our review.

Gori: Cuddly Carnage Overview

Get ready to unleash the cuddly carnage in Gori: Cuddly Carnage! Humanity has been destroyed, and it’s up to the adorable yet deadly Gori, along with his wise-cracking sentient hoverboard, F.R.A.N.K, and morose A.I companion, CH1-P, to take down the evil Adorable Army using lethal combos.

In this hack-and-slash action adventure game, dive into a world where Ultra Pets from Cool-Toyz Inc. have turned into twisted toys straight from your nightmares. Armed with explosive weaponry and devastating combos, embark on an epic battle to prevent the Adorable Army from conquering the galaxy and rescue Professor Y, their missing creator who showed Gori and his friends love. Push your combat and platforming skills to the limits as you navigate through twisted landscapes filled with environmental hazards, adult humor, and a bone-crunching, pulse-pounding soundtrack.

Key Features:

Explosive Soundtrack: Skate and slay to an original bone-crunching soundtrack bursting with energy across multiple genres.

Playground Games Confirms 15-to-20 Hour Campaign for Fable Reboot Playground Games has confirmed that the upcoming Fable reboot will feature a mainline story lasting between 15 and 20 hours. Speaking during a group press session at Gamescom 2026, associate game director Will Kennedy outlined the scope of the project, stating that the central questline is paired with a similar 15-to-20-hour block of side quests and open-world exploration. Beyond authored content, the developers emphasized that the title’s simulation and life systems allow for indefinite play depending on player investment. Full coverage of the interview context can be found in Polygon’s developer Q&A. This targeted duration keeps the reboot in line with the structure of Lionhead Studios' original trilogy rather than the massive scale of modern role-playing games. The 2004 original averaged roughly 12.5 hours for its main path, while Fable II and Fable III clocked in at approximately 13 and 13.5 hours respectively. By keeping the core path concise, Playground Games appears focused on density and narrative pacing rather than padding out the experience with mandatory filler. Community reception to the announcement has leaned positive, particularly among veteran players who prefer tightly structured campaigns over 100-hour commitments. As discussed in a active Reddit community thread, many players welcomed the focused runtime, noting that the series' signature alignment shifts and choice-driven paths naturally encourage multiple playthroughs. The game’s optional activities will include property ownership, local employment, and dynamic NPC interactions, extending gameplay well past the main story credits. Following previous delays, Fable is scheduled to launch on February 23, 2027, for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
