How Long is Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok?

Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla‘s Eivor will once again don the cloak of Havi
(read: Odin) in the fantastical expansion, Dawn of Ragnarok. Unlike the previous two expansions, Wrath of the Druids and The Siege of Paris, the latest downloadable content drop will focus entirely on Eivor’s seer-enabled visions of Havi’s life. Specifically, Eivor will view the journey of Havi as he ventures through vwith the goal of saving his son, Baldr, from the clutches of the fire giant Surtr.

Given the modest 15GB size, the scale of Dawn of Ragnarok may be the biggest question on prospective buyers’ minds. Fortunately, early reports and Ubisoft‘s own divulged info have given us a clearer idea of how long the expansion will take to complete.

How Long is Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok?

According to Ubisoft, the Dawn of Ragnarok DLC will take around 35 hours to wrap up if all content is sought out and completed. This type of undertaking would include hunting down all map locations and their embedded side quests in addition to the main campaign.

For the average player, they can expect to comfortably halve this estimate, according to early reports from players who have already dominated the dwarven realm of Svartalfheim. Even in the 15-18 hour range, that would place Dawn of Ragnarok‘s story beyond the length of the previous two expansions’ core campaign.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok is now available for $39.99 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
