Take-Two boss mentions that PC is growing in relevancy lately, and honestly, it has been growing in relevancy for a very long while now. Unless you are buying any of Nintendo’s offerings, you really aren’t paying for anything special by buying other consoles from Sony or Microsoft. There really is no reason on why you wouldn’t go for PC, as you are pretty much locking yourself out of a ton of exclusive titles. Games are what sell a system, and if you don’t have games and you are just a port machine then you can kiss goodbye to your potential customers.
Take-Two recognizes a fact
To not get people riled up, actual facts show that the console market is in a dire situation, especially when you take into account the hardware market. PC is in a very bad situation too, because building a rig that can play the latest games is pretty expensive, but considering that PlayStation can take away your games and so can Xbox, the only safe bet seems to be Nintendo but you would be wrong thinking so, PC is what people go for to have true ownership. Digital downloads are messy, and there is no way to avoid them, unless you go a different way and get them as a gift.
Take-Two is still planning what should happen with Grand Theft Auto 6, perhaps the fact that they are talking about this might be because they are considering dropping the game simultaneously on PC to ensure the best sales possible. Despite all of the drama surrounding the game, it is clear that people are gonna buy it, personally I don’t think people should but they should be free to do as they please. They better not complain about the gaming industry getting worse however, Take-Two Interactive won’t allow them to do so.
