Flesh & Wire is a new PC game made by the people responsible of the POSTAL series. This one goes with a severely drastic change of pace, focusing more in psychological horror with a ton of uncanny elements and things to be afraid of. The only thing that remains intact is the fact that this one is also a first person shooter game, so if you were wondering, yes, you will still be able to shot stuff dead. Shooters are extremely popular in America due to their high octane action paced gameplay, so it will be very interesting to see how the story elements will flow in this one.
Flesh & Wire coming in 2027
The release date is very far, there’s not even a hint on when in 2027 will it even drop, this is surprising cause oftentimes there’s enough time to at least name drop a month when the release is so far. We play as a victim seeking for vengeance and answers about who caused her grisly demise, we are in search of the gunman that changed our life forever, essentially becoming a terrible assassin too. Seems like this one will be quite the horrific revenge plot to behold, and hopefully they can treat things in a more serious way.
The POSTAL series is known for being very chaotic, almost memetic when you take into consideration the main character pissed on Tombstones of game journalists in the past. Flesh & Wire seems to be a spin on this, and hopefully it can be what Running With Scissors studio needs to get a second wind in this complicated industry. If you are interested in getting a new shooter, and you are also a fan of psychological horror, perhaps this is a game you really wanna store in your wishlist. Since I wanna support the developers, I will put Flesh & Wire in my list.
