Ubisoft shares fall by 33% after restructuring announcement

Ubisoft

Ubisoft keeps blundering after announcing tons of cancellations, studio closures, and also questionable decisions, not to mention the ongoing scandals with all the people involved in this company. Hopefully all of this causes them to start selling some IPs to studios that can do better stuff with them, the Rayman series would have an amazing home at studios like WayForward or pretty much any indie team that desires to make anything with it. To wait for Rayman to rot in NFT hell is quite a punishment for fans, and perhaps this is the upcoming fate of the Prince of Persia series too.

Ubisoft takes a plunge

Ubisoft is dying quite quick, the lack of quality has been something gamers didn’t like at all, not to mention the abusive practices they employed to get every penny off of us. After severe revelations with a ton of game cancellations and studios being shut down, we also realized that the CEO of Ubisoft just decided to give everything to his son, allegedly of course. This is always a sign when things are going to go wrong, because when the big boss abandons the ship then the eventual downfall just happens.

The company will probably spiral out of control this months and hopefully, all of this ends with the closure and liquidation of IPs towards developers that can make good use of them. We don’t need Ubisoft to do this, in fact, none of the original Rayman developers probably remain at the company anymore, so it is time that the baton is passed to fans who know how to handle the series. The same could be said about the Tom Clancy series, hopefully this does not end with just many employees getting unjustly removed, the whole empire must also fall down, that’s the only way things would be fair for everyone.
