Mafia: The Old Country was a very good release on PC and it surprised many people who were into the Mafia series. This new DLC, at least for the things it offers, is a great addition to the game because it expands on something that was already good. Perhaps the base game might have given you a ton of questions about the past of some characters like Ennio Salieri, this DLC tries to explain all of that along with providing more missions and chapters. Along with this, new items, vehicles, and even outfits are also added to the base game with the purchase of this expansion.
Mafia: The Old Country gets bigger
While it might not look huge by expansion standards, the price looks fair for the things it delivers to the player. Having an excuse to play more of a game you love is always great, and it seems like they put some quality in this package. If you are a fan of the Mafia series, of Mafia: The Old Country is the first game you ever play in it, then this DLC is a must if you wanna experience the entirety of the intricate story behind this entry.
I personally prefer the older Mafia games, maybe it is nostalgia, maybe it is something else, but if there is a thing this one does is bringing a ton of performance issues to the series thanks to the usage of Denuvo. This software hasn’t been removed yet, and it is quite dangerous if it is kept on your PC for too long, let alone it pretty much prevents you from owning the game you bought and paid for. There is many issues, but its definitely not the fault of the game itself, Mafia: The Old Country is well liked by fans of the long running series.
