Bungie gave a substantial update on the ongoing Destiny 2 weightgate issues, confirming a fix is set to release on Nov. 5, and various efforts to make good on the issue.
As previously suggested, Bungie confirmed six weapons will be given away with highly desirable perks. The most notable being the infamous Envious Arsenal, with Bait and Switch VS Chil Inhibitor, though this also includes Indebted Kindness with Loose Change, and Voltshot, Multimach with Attrition Orbs, and Kinetic Tremors, plus more. Unsurprisingly, none of these weapons are a perfect 5/5 god roll, though all are at least a 2/5 or better.
All rolls will be available starting Nov. 19, and can be found at Banshee-44. Bungie notes there is no set end date for these weapons, though you must own the dungeon, and have a clear to collect dungeon weapons.
To help make the most of the new rate, Vesper’s Host will also offer double drops from Nov. 19, until Dec. 3. This should make grinding new weapons, or reaching the pinnacle cap, extremely easy.

⚔️Starting November 19 through December 3, the Vesper’s Host Dungeon will offer double drops for encounter and activity completions.
➡Both weapon and armor rewards can drop from encounter completions. This will be a great time to hunt for your desired rolls on weapons, or even hit Master difficulty to earn some Artifice armor.🤖Starting November 19, Banshee-44 will have a small collection of weapons in the Tower with curated perk rolls. Our goal is to get you some perk combinations that were a bit harder to earn due to the bug. We do not currently have a planned deadline for acquisition, but we recommend picking these weapons up at your earliest convenience.
➡️Rose – Fluted Barrel, Accurized Rounds, Slideshot, Explosive Payload, Smooth Grip, Handling MW
➡️Multimach – Polygonal Rifling + Tactical Mag + Attrition Orbs + Kinetic Tremors + Reload MW
