Little Nightmares III Pushed to 2025

Bandai Namco and Supermassive Games announced that Little Nightmares III will now release in 2025, instead of 2024 as initially planned. The developers decided to delay the game to ensure it meets quality standards and fan expectations. The game, first revealed in 2023 during Gamescom, marks a significant project for Supermassive Games, known for titles like Until Dawn and The Quarry.

The announcement emphasized the developers’ commitment to delivering a top-notch experience. They acknowledged the fans’ excitement and promised more updates in the summer. This extra time allows the team to polish the game further and address any issues.

Please do bear with us, little ones, for we need a little extra time to prepare your visit.

Rest assured, we promise to show you a proper welcome. #LittleNightmares III pic.twitter.com/fqxsOPzkFD

In Little Nightmares III, players follow Low and Alone as they navigate the eerie world of the Nowhere. For the first time in the series, players can face their fears in online co-op mode or solo with an AI companion. The game will be available on multiple platforms, including PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.

The delay is seen as a positive move to avoid a rushed release. Fans remain eager to see how Supermassive Games will bring their unique touch to this beloved franchise. More details and previews are expected later this year.
