Neon Abyss 2 is free to play for a limited period of time, it will end soon in June 15th, so you gotta be quick before the opportunity to play it ends. This is a big one on PC apparently, and it has been navigating some troublesome updates judging from the Mixed ratings that it accrued. Most people don’t seem to get that a good sequel needs to repeat what works in the first game for it to connect with people more, and then the same people complain about games being different later on. Neon Abyss 2 seems to be a cool game to experience.
Neon Abyss 2 is free for now
But in around a day it will stop being accessible, so make sure that you can play it before your chance to do so runs out. Maybe you end up getting hooked to it and decide to buy it on a whim because there is a lot of things to do. I forgot to mention that this one is a Roguelike, so that means there’s thousands of hours of content to explore most of the time. Roguelikes and other Rogue type games have a very addictive gameplay loop, and when it hits the right spot then one can play for hours.
The first game wasn’t that polished apparently, so Neon Abyss 2 brings more improvements upon the original formula like every good sequel should do. Despite the mixed rating, a ton of players seem to have given it a very positive rating recently, which might offset the unnecessary review bomb. This is not my cup of tea, but there is a ton of people who are into these kinds of games, so if you are interested you should download the free trial now, maybe you can also wishlist the game if you liked it.
