Stranger than Heaven is pretty much a spiritual successor to the Yakuza series made by the same people who created it in the first place. A new trailer showcases what we can expect of this new PC game, and from the looks of it I have a feeling that it will end up being a blast. We still don’t know when the game will release, and neither do we know about the specs we will require to run it in the first place, but Ryu Ga Gotoku is known to be a studio that cares about performance even if it aims for huge environments and realism. Hopefully this will be able to run in older systems without much hassle.
Stranger than Heaven looks epic
We will visit five different eras as Makoto Daito, born in 1915 on San Francisco, at a time where racism was pretty common place in North America against people of Asian descent. And as we expect from a game made by Ryu Ga Gotoku, a ton of action and combos will happen in this game, perhaps not as flashy as those seen in the Yakuza series, but there will definitely be some resemblance to it. Leaving the pure and blood boiling violence aside, we will also be able to play instruments and become a showman to earn money on the side.
Stranger than Heaven will definitely be quite the amazing story to follow as we will travel through many parts of Japan from before conflicts occurred. From 1915 to 1965 there will be so many decades to explore in this adventure that I’m sure will become a heart breaking journey. Just from looking at the timelines alone, I’m very sure that Makoto, our protagonist, won’t be the most long lived person if things just end in 50 years. More details will be revealed about Stranger Than Heaven later on.
