The first officially licensed LEGO set based on Netflix’s breakout animated film K-Pop Demon Hunters will launch on August 1, 2026. Retailer listings confirmed that the debut set will feature brick-built recreations of the popular creature duo, Derpy Tiger and Sussie Bird.
Priced at $69.99, the upcoming package contains 825 pieces tailored for builders aged nine and older. The core builds include a posable Derpy Tiger with swappable facial expressions and a Sussie Bird model featuring a rotating head and articulated feet. Additional accessories, such as a miniature flower pot and replica notes from the movie, are included to help fans recreate specific scenes from the film. Pre-orders have already gone live on the official LEGO store page.
This product launch follows a massive viewership run for the animated feature. Debuting on Netflix in June 2025, K-Pop Demon Hunters quickly climbed the charts to become the streaming platform’s most-watched original animated movie of all time, surpassing 500 million views by the end of that year. Despite the film’s immediate commercial success, viewers have faced a year-long wait for physical merchandise, making this construction set the first tangible collectible available to the public.
According to a previous joint announcement from LEGO and Netflix, this release marks the beginning of a broader, multi-year licensing agreement. While the Derpy Tiger and Sussie Bird set will lead the initial rollout this summer, a wider wave of consumer products and additional building sets are scheduled to hit store shelves in 2027. It remains unconfirmed whether future waves will utilize traditional LEGO minifigures or the stylized mini-dolls frequently seen in licensed properties aimed at younger audiences.
