You have until March 16th of this year to claim it, if you don’t then I don’t think they will ever put it up for free again, this is an amazing opportunity if you were seeking something new to play or if you are a big fan of the point and click genre. Many often say that genres like this are dead, but the reality is that they exist in their own small niche, awaiting for someone to discover them while being buried under the sand left by triple A Live Services that died.
Gaming isn’t really dead, people should look for more things to play that are made by people who actually care about the medium, I know that in today’s day and age of grift and clout chasing it might be hard to actually find some of those, but if you look at true indie games you will often find some hidden gems waiting to be discovered. There’s a ton of games, this is a blessing if you are buying, but a curse if you are developing, I opt to remain optimistic because 2026 looks like a good year for games so far, Deponia being free just makes it better, so get it in the link above.
