Hotfix 1.5.2 for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Fixes Quests and Visuals Related Issues, brings Stability Improvements and More

One of the best titles as well as a sleeper hit of this year, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 just got even better as developer Warhorse studios has just released Hotfix 1.5.2 for the medieval action RPG which fixes numerous quest related problems, includes multiple stability improvements plus a slew of quality of life changes which will make for a more polished and smoother gameplay experience for all players.

One of the many annoying bugs in the game that’s been fixed in the latest patch is one that made the player lose quest weapons if they got knocked out while holding them at any point.

The Hotfix also addresses an issue that occurred in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2‘s Hardcore mode plus fixes multiple graphics related inconsistencies along with including several improvements to the game’s two DLCs as well. Check out all the patch notes:

Audio

  • Corrected rain playing in interiors across the game

Barber

  • Barbers restored if killed in saves from version 1.3 or earlier
  • Fixed Bone Dome haircut clipping into view while reading seated

Combat

  • Prevented loss of quest weapons when knocked out

Crime

  • Fixed crimes not clearing after loading a pre crime save

Cutscenes

  • Resolved occasional cutscene crashes

Daily Life

  • Fixed NPCs in Peter of Pisek’s house sleeping during daytime

Environment

  • Corrected safe spots and stuck spots in Trosky and Kuttenberg
  • Fixed missing texture on a Sigismund army tent
  • Corrected LoD model for a rock formation

Horse

  • Horse items no longer unequip when traveling between regions

Inventory

  • Fixed rare crash when inserting a weapon into a belt slot
  • Fixed outfit retrieval logic after NPC forced equipment changes

Map

  • Fixed Hardcore mode map opening as a black screen

Visuals

  • Fixed blocky sun shadows with certain settings
  • Resolved prolonged black screen on launch after auto detect changes

Platform Specific

  • SteamLink controller support added
  • Xbox distant terrain and vegetation flicker corrected
