Much to the like of how DUSK is a shooter made by fans of DOOM, Dungeons of DUSK is clearly a reference to the mobile game that DOOM received way back in the era of Java Phones. Dungeons of DUSK is clearly a love letter to that game, and it feels reasonable that the developer would release something like this, this is meant to be some sort of side dish for the ever expanding universe of DUSK . For fans of the original game, this game is definitely a must check because it will tie in some important lore bits that might be relevant soon enough.

Dungeons of DUSK is slated to release in 2026, however, there’s no proper information as to when this will actually happen, it can be right when the year begins, it can also be right when the year ends. There’s still many days to wait for the beginning of 2026, and there has been many problems already that makes a game such as this be more valuable in the future gaming industry. RAM prices have soared, along with other things such as storage and GPUs, games that are small and compact are the future if things don’t get fixed.
Thankfully this might be momentary, shortages in hardware often happen when a tech bubble is about to burst, similar to what happened with the NFT bubble and others. The current fad is “AI” and on analysis it is clear that it has lived long enough to just match the NFT craze of 2020, right now the technology is failing to provide value on a similar fashion, and the straw that breaks the camels back is often people being priced out from hardware. The bubble is going to burst so hard that it might cause a global ripple effect, but hey, as long as Dungeons of DUSK comes out at least we will have fun.
