NetEase Games is ensnaring the Marvel Rivals with fresh skin release for two popular Duelists- Magik and Black Panther. These skins are very much awaited by the players and will be available in the in-game store on July 31 at 7 PM PDT, altering the visual presentation of this superhero brawler.
The Phoenix Demon skin gives the sorceress a sleek black leather outfit with a flaming phoenix symbol emblazoned across her chest. On the other hand, Black Panther receives the Phoenix Panther upgrade, draping the face of the Wakandan king in powerful black and gold armor with a unique mask and a flaming crown radiating royal power. Pricing for these skins and related bundles has yet to be revealed, but it would be hard to not take the players’ tastes into account.
This release happens to be just before a huge mid-season update. Season 3.5 will officially be released on August 8. The game has been constantly adding Duelist characters, like Jean Grey in Season 3, and speculation about Blade joining in the next update has sparked conversations in the community about balancing character classes. Apart from the skins, players can expect more content, including a new Jeff the Land Shark bundle for PlayStation Plus members, free cosmetic bundles upon meeting requirements, and subtle hints for a King-In-Black-themed skin for The Thing, consistent with the narrative direction of Season 3.
