Off Prologue

OFF Prologue is the demo to the remake of OFF, the legendary RPG Maker game that made many players rethink many things in life. I love to call this one the original Undertale, since it really isn’t too far off from it, and some young players might even pass it off as a mere alternate universe to Undertale. The fandom still lives somehow, and despite Mortis Ghost breaking his promise about not reworking the game in any capacity it truly is nice to see something familiar is back, we need the message more than ever. We at Infinite Start will cover this comeback.

OFF Prologue is out on Steam

Players will be able to complete Zone 1, and saves can be carried over from the Demo to the full release when it comes out in August 15th. You are the Batter, a mysterious hero who’s sole mission is to purify and cleanse every Zone, or at least that is what he is tasked to do. We must help the Batter in his holy mission to ensure that the world can be purified for once, no corner must remain untouched.

This game plays like your typical Active Time Battle System RPG, since it was quite popular back in the day thanks to the massive popularity of Final Fantasy. OFF is truly an avant garde work that everyone needs to try out at least once in their lives, the original version is totally free to play too. Remakes often change quite a lot of things, and this one will be no exception, so the best thing one can do is to actually play the original to enjoy this new one.

Despite Mortis stating that his work wasn’t a thing to be sold, or a thing to be remade, he went out of his way to do so in this day and age. But who can judge him if things didn’t go the way they should?

Playground Games Confirms 15-to-20 Hour Campaign for Fable Reboot Playground Games has confirmed that the upcoming Fable reboot will feature a mainline story lasting between 15 and 20 hours. Speaking during a group press session at Gamescom 2026, associate game director Will Kennedy outlined the scope of the project, stating that the central questline is paired with a similar 15-to-20-hour block of side quests and open-world exploration. Beyond authored content, the developers emphasized that the title’s simulation and life systems allow for indefinite play depending on player investment. Full coverage of the interview context can be found in Polygon’s developer Q&A. This targeted duration keeps the reboot in line with the structure of Lionhead Studios' original trilogy rather than the massive scale of modern role-playing games. The 2004 original averaged roughly 12.5 hours for its main path, while Fable II and Fable III clocked in at approximately 13 and 13.5 hours respectively. By keeping the core path concise, Playground Games appears focused on density and narrative pacing rather than padding out the experience with mandatory filler. Community reception to the announcement has leaned positive, particularly among veteran players who prefer tightly structured campaigns over 100-hour commitments. As discussed in a active Reddit community thread, many players welcomed the focused runtime, noting that the series' signature alignment shifts and choice-driven paths naturally encourage multiple playthroughs. The game’s optional activities will include property ownership, local employment, and dynamic NPC interactions, extending gameplay well past the main story credits. Following previous delays, Fable is scheduled to launch on February 23, 2027, for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
