The people who made Spiritfarer, Thunder Lotus Games, is bringing us an amazing new title that has the potential to win Game of The Year in 2026. At Fates End looks stunning, from the animations, to the art style and the fact that it all is done by hand too, it shows that indie developers really strive to create the best titles in the industry. I can clearly see some inspiration being taken from 90s anime in this one, along with plenty of love being put by the developers behind, and this is merely a trailer. I bet that many people will be blown away when the time comes to play it.
At Fates End was the highlight
To me, despite what everyone says about The Outer Worlds 2 being the main draw of the event, I felt that it was uninteresting. At Fates End is easily the thing that made the event, and thankfully it won’t be locked to Xbox. PC gamers will have the privilege to play this one too, and many others will be blown away by the sheer epic aura that this game irradiates. Many games showcased have no business being locked to Xbox and in fact, many won’t be locked to the console.
The era of console exclusivity is pretty much over, and 1 or 2 games isn’t enough justification to jump from one system to another. Especially since PC has pretty much all the titles one could ever want, being able to play this new title on PC is a boon, and I bet its the best way to enjoy it too. There really aren’t many details about it, but the game will be action focus with a deep cut of narrative in it. If you truly enjoy games that tell tales, At Fates End is the one you must get as soon as it comes out.
