lou's lagoon demo

Lou’s Lagoon Demo has finally dropped on PC after a long time. Your objective is to travel the Limbo Archipelago in search of your Uncle Lou, who mysteriously disappeared and left you his seaplane delivery service. To do this you must explore all the islands filled with content and craft with the variety of items that you will find in Limbo. This new Indie adventure looks very promising, and it shows that the space is still as vibrant as ever. We at Infinite Start will cover this new demo.

Searching far and wide

Indie titles are often filled with lots of references to popular media and other games. This is almost done in an intentional way to homage the titles that inspired them. Lou’s Lagoon looks quite similar to Slime Rancher in a way, at least the protagonist seems inspired by it. However, this game is very different from it, your task is to travel Limbo Archipelago to try and find your uncle. There’s various methods of traveling available, but the one that the game touts the most about is flying.

Left in the Limbo Archipelago, was Uncle Lou’s seaplane, and this will be a crucial tool for the player to travel and adventure across the map. We can see that there’s many care to detail put in the flying sections, and it feels breathtaking. There is still no proper date on when the game will release however, but we can assume that maybe it will drop in 2025.

It is so nice to see indie games still being so varied and filled with ideas. Often showing to triple A companies that they need to step up their game when it comes to quality. Indie titles are often accompanied with quality and passion behind, so it is obvious for buyers to get them instead of the bloated current releases that are filled with micro transactions.
