Cataclysmic release
With some weeks around the corner, this new Strategy game is about to hit PC. This is yet another win for the PC scene, acquiring yet another passionate indie project. Strategy games are usually tons of fun, and Cataclismo has some very interesting things to offer. This game blends Minecraft like construction systems that allow you to customize your bases in any way you desire. Along with that, the take of the game is quite post apocalyptic, you have to help humanity survive against a corrupted world after cataclysm.
To do so, using your wits is essential to fend of the menaces that await in this new world. The world consists of multiple biomes with different mechanics attached to each. Knowing your way through this is essential for survival, and so is knowing how to build your base accordingly. The new update adds The Depths, a new and dangerous biome that will put your mettle to a test. Along with that, new enemies are also added to the fray, awaiting out there to rip apart at your hard work.
It is nice to see the City Builder genre build up so new experiences. It shows that people with commitment behind creating fun experiences often succeed amidst the piles of triple A slop. If you are interested in Cataclismo, you can buy the game to try it out.
