Diablo IV Confirms Changes to Welcome Back Booster in Season 7

In a recent blog post, Blizzard confirmed that it would be making the Welcome Back Booster in Diablo IV permanent. The Welcome Back Booster is a feature that grants returning players with the ability to instantly boost their character to level 50 while skipping the early stages of the game.

Being launched in the middle of Season 6 of Diablo IV, the Welcome Back Booster was a well received feature during it tenure as a temporary inclusion in the game. On that note, Blizzard has officially confirmed the feature would be permanently available with Season 7’s launch.

The Welcome Back Booster is clearly a much-wanted feature among Diablo IV players as newbies may immediately want to experience the game’s true complexity, difficulty, and end-game content, while veterans may see the game’s early stages as too easy and boring, since the toughness of the game increases with the player’s level. The Welcome Back Booster is going to be available right from the start of Season 7 unlike its first appearance which was midway through Season 6. Blizzard’s article made that clear when they stated the Welcome Back Booster “is here to stay.”

That said, Diablo IV Season 7 is clearly going to be an epic one for fans as leaks and updates about the Season suggest it would focus on releasing a majority of quality of life updates, and also focus on the game’s Witchcraft. The post by Blizzard caused lots of excitement among Diablo IV fans as they were excited about the shift of focus to Witchcraft.

The game’s reported improvements to Witchcraft has beforehand been anticipated by Diablo IV players. That said, with Diablo IV’s Season 7 drawing closer, players are expecting a thrilling experience with the quality of life changes made to the game. With Diablo IV being in good state, Blizzard is clearly making a good move with Season 7. And with the highly anticipated Welcome Back Booster feature in Diablo IV becoming permanent in the game’s Season 7, players can immediately progress through 50 levels skipping the early grind in the game.
