Steam Deck Marks 22 More Games as Playable

The hype for the Steam Deck is palpable, as the vast queue of prospective buyers await their confirmation email later this month. Valve is keeping the news flowing in the run-up to launch to ensure those pre-orders have every reason to hit that buy button when their turn arrives.

Today’s tidbit from Valve includes an update on the games marked “playable” on the upcoming device. Playable doesn’t carry the same confidence as verified, which is guaranteed to work great right away. The playable designation still points towards a favorable experience, albeit one that may require user tweaking to fully optimize. Keep that in mind as you pore over the new playable list additions.

Here are the 22 new games deemed playable on the Steam Deck:

  • Anno 1404
  • Call of Juarez
  • DCS World Steam Edition
  • Disgaea 4 Complete+
  • Dungeon Fighter Online
  • Epic Roller Coasters XR
  • Eternal Return
  • Forza Horizon 5
  • Gravity Sketch VR
  • Monster Hunter Rise
  • NecroVisioN
  • Nights of Azure
  • Oceanhorn: Monster of the Uncharted Seas
  • Order of War
  • Persona 4 Golden
  • Resident Evil 0
  • Resident Evil Revelations 2
  • Rocksmith 2014 Edition
  • SCP: Secret Laboratory
  • Wargroove
  • Wartales
  • Yakuza 4 Remastered

The appearance of Monster Hunter Rise is sure to appease those that have greatly enjoyed the less restricted PC port, but still wish to dabble in the on-the-go freedom of the Switch version. No longer will you have to choose.

The Steam Deck officially launches on February 25th.
