Fatal Frame Maiden of Black Water for PC gets a patch that fixes Sync issues

When Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water debuted on PC for Steam, one of the problems many gamers are experiencing is sync issues for those who have a high refresh rate monitor.

Gamers who have set their refresh rate at 120hz or above 60hz may have experienced synchronization problems that cause the game to run at twice the speed, making cutscenes and audio goes off-sync. Today, KOEI Tecmo finally released the patch that fixes the issues.

The small patch that was released today fixes the following:

Fixed an issue that caused synchronization problems when using a monitor with a high refresh rate.

Additionally, PC players disappointed by the lack of mouse support will be pleased to hear that KOEI Tecmo is currently working on a patch that adds the ability to link the camera controls to the mouse. It will be launched later in November.

We are planning to release a patch that adds the ability to link the camera controls to the mouse. This patch will be released in November.

Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water is available now for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam. For more information, check out our review.
