With dying, losing your gear, and repeating the cycle being massive parts of Deathloop, it can be scary finishing a run. Does Colt keep his gear? Do you lose everything? Are some things retained? Is there a place to keep them? These are all valid questions with a rather simple answer.
What Happens After a Day in Deathloop
After finishing a day players will be greeted with this screen. Colt will be told how many pieces of gear they can infuse, with the option to use it all. Anything infused will be kept, with everything else lost to time. For this reason, it’s best to destroy anything you’re unsure about and get as much Residuum as possible.
Once selected all the gear you want, invest any Residuum into valuable gear. This way you can stockpile Residuum without having to worry about the water cycle. It’s especially useful on cycles where you get multiple Slab items since those cost a fortune.
