Despite having a triumphant launch last year, there’s still some issues in Battlefield 6 that need to be ironed out as quickly as possible and one of them is vehicle balancing but thankfully the developers are well aware of the problems and has assured an upcoming Labs test to bring about all the necessary improvements and tweaks. There are multiple vehicles in the game, especially the lighter ones like the Jeep, that are so utterly weak and unoptimized that using those automatically equates to ‘free kills’ in Battlefield 6 which is really embarrassing for a first person shooter of it’s caliber.
In a recent interview with PC Gamer, DICE’s Kit Eklöf said that there will be an upcoming Labs test where the devs are going to test out several vehicles and perform adjustments to help improve their in-game experience considerably:
“I’m going to take the light vehicle feedback with me to the team from you today.”
“But I also want to promote that there’s a Battlefield Labs test coming up where we’re going to test some vehicle improvements around this issue, specifically because we’ve heard the feedback that vehicles are death traps. We are going to try a package of vehicle improvements on Labs very soon, so keep an eye out for that.”
But although it sounds pretty awful for Battlefield 6 to fumble on it’s vehicles, it’s important to remember that unlike most other shooters that only has boots-on-the-ground gameplay, the Battlefield series features both land and air vehicles on a gigantic scale which no other first person shooter can deliver and thus it’s sort of expected for the game to still have some rough edges in several areas. But hopefully the devs manage to smooth things out pretty quickly for players and make the overall experience far more polished and refined.
Also, Battlefield 6 is free to play in Gamepass till today so if you haven’t done so, there’s still some time to check out the game and give it a quick try.
