The hotly anticipated WWE 2K26 finally has an official release date along with the deluxe edition of the upcoming wrestling title which is also dubbed as the King of Kings edition and features Triple H as it’s cover. According to Billbil-kun, WWE 2K26 is slated to be released on Friday, March 13 for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and the Nintendo Switch 2.
WWE 2K26 will also arrive in two more editions such as the Monday Night War edition as well as the Attitude Era edition with both featuring many iconic wrestlers from the 90s in their cover photo. You can pre-order your favorite edition of the upcoming title starting from January 30 on all platforms which is less than a week from now.
However, the cover for the Standard edition of WWE 2K26 is yet to be revealed along with future DLCs that are lined up for the game but they’re expected to be announced soon enough. Further information and news regarding the upcoming game is expected to be unveiled in next month possibly at an invite-only creator event, much like it’s predecessor WWE 2K25.
It was previously revealed that CM Punk will be the focus of the Showcase mode of WWE 2K26 and players will be able to recreate many of the superstar’s most memorable and pivotal matches from his long career. There will also be four new type of matches where one will be completely new (the Dumpster Match) to the series while three match types will be returning from much older entries of the series which are the Inferno Match, I Quit Match and the 3-Stages-of-Hell match.
Also, the open world Island Mode which debuted in last year’s WWE 2K25 will also be returning with a brand new storyline that’s sure to be at least as engaging and memorable as it has been in the previous title.
