Forza Horizon 6 is speeding it’s way to the PC and Xbox Series X|S on May 19th and is expected to launch on the Playstation 5 later this year as well. And to help you determine how well you can expect the upcoming premier arcade racing title to run on your system, developer Playground Games has also released the minimum system requirements for Forza Horizon 6 which can give you a clear indication as to the visual fidelity level you can run the game with, so check it out:
Minimum System Requirements:
OS: Windows 10 22H2 (version 19045) or higher
Processor: Intel i5-8400 OR AMD Ryzen 5 1600
Memory: 16 GB RAM
Graphics: Nvidia GTX 1650 OR AMD RX 6500 XT OR Intel Arc A380 / Arc B390
DirectX: Version 12
Network: Broadband Internet connection
Additional Notes: SSD Required
Overall, the minimum system requirements are definitely pretty mild which also means Forza Horizon 6 is going to be really well optimized on the PC and therefore should run on decent FPS on the majority of budget and mid-range CPUs and GPUs out there. And while we have no idea what it’s going to take to run the upcoming racer with full ray tracing enabled, but judging by the extremely impressive visual fidelity that’s on display in the recently released gameplay trailer of Forza Horizon 6, it seems the game definitely needs one of the top 5 GPUs currently available in order to run at max out settings.
Also, the minimum system requirements are quite similar to Forza Horizon 5 with an identical Intel GPU (the ARC A380) and the GTX 1650 replacing the GTX 970 (both GPUs are around the same performance). This also means that if your current Graphics Card can run Forza Horizon 5 well enough, you can expect Horizon 6 to run pretty well too.
The Standard Edition of Forza Horizon 6 will cost $69.99 while the more expensive Premium Edition will include the game’s first two expansions, the game Car Pass, two “Car Packs”, a “VIP Membership”, and a Welcome Pack plus four days of early access period. Also, everyone who pre-orders Forza Horizon 6 will get a “Pre-Tuned Ferrari J50” which will definitely make the first few hours of the game much easier.
