Postal Bullet Paradise has been cancelled after being announced in just a day, it is crazy that generative “AI” always endangers every project its placed in yet a minority does not seem to learn that. More and more people are learning that this sort of technology, if we can call it that, is built upon theft and cultural laundering. Postal used to be a renown series on PC for its satire and crude humor, often times being cited as quite edgy by many, but we see that the people behind it have fallen out of grace by giving us actual slop.
Postal Bullet Paradise bites the dust
Running with Scissors confirms that they have identified the issue and cancelled it, they do publish the game but they don’t make it and they had total trust in the studio behind it. Unfortunately, they have been back-stabbed, or perhaps they actually know but to avoid damage to their reputation they have decided to backtrack. To see a cult series die to the culture theft machine is saddening, and even maddening, the people who partake in this kind of crimes should be punished by the law.
There’s many laws in Europe that can put a stop to this, and you barely see European studio partaking into the things that Postal Bullet Paradise contained. The reason that’s the case is because Europe does care about culture at a societal level, unlike the West who often sees games as mere things to generate cash. Games are art, and failing to apply your own skills in every aspect of them shows that the game isn’t worth playing, or it shouldn’t even exist in the first place. A Postal game shouldn’t have the art that you are seeing above, and it is a relief that Postal Bullet Paradise ceased to exist.
