Spindle is getting some amazing release success for such a small indie title. It might end up becoming another indie success story in 2025 if things go well and PC gamers end up enjoying the journey. So far, the game sits at the top of the most popular and hot games on Steam, and there’s a big chance it will retain that position for a while now. It is always amazing to see small indie titles succeed and get a chance to shine, because the effort put into them gets recognized by many, which in turn translates into more potential sales.

Releasing some hours ago, this new game is accruing some overwhelmingly positive reviews, showing that people seem to like the ingenious puzzles and story telling. There’s a ton of things that you must discover in the world of Spindle as puzzle solving skills are your most important weapon in this land, you have a Pig companion who will help you solve plenty of puzzles by using him on an ingenious way and it truly feels quite charming. The story is about death and how we deal with it, after all we have become Death itself.
Without spoiling too much, the story is rather bittersweet and every second on it matters a ton as there was a massive focus on trying to make it feel good. The puzzles might be the main draw however, and you can also buy it on a ton of different platforms. GOG is the best place where you can go and support Spindle, as you can actually own this one if you buy it through there, along with giving developers a full payment for their game without any major secret cuts in the transaction. If you are still on the fence about it, at least give it a wishlist position, its worth it.
