Team Fortress 2 always had this very interesting mode that always appears on Halloween, this year its coming back as it always does, and it will bring a ton of fun for players who enjoy seasonal events on one of the most beloved PC shooters coming from the hand of Valve. It is so much fun to run around the Carnival of Carnage map and getting some kills, along with generally just chilling with players together and enjoying some good Halloween spirits alongside them too. If it weren’t for the bot invasion, perhaps things would be better, but you can just play on community servers.
Team Fortress 2 brings Merasmus back
As always, Scream Fortress brings with it its original character, Merasmus, who is quite integral to the lore of the Team Fortress universe. Of course, all of this is for pure comedic effect, as Team Fortress 2 does not take itself seriously despite all of the material surrounding the game painting a more particular picture. Leaving that aside, one can expect a slew of new Halloween themed cosmetics to start hitting the game very soon, as those are the most important thing for the Skin Market that has pretty much destroyed the game by itself.
People used to have fun in Team Fortress 2, they still do, but the Mannconomy update has to be one of the worst things alongside with the Meet Your Match Update. Valve could have fixed Team Fortress 2 by removing both of these things, but it seems that the only thing they cared about was trying to milk players out of their hard earned money for virtual cosmetics that don’t even exist, creating a black market that is essentially just gambling with extra steps. Regardless of this, if you are an actual player, go and jump into a community server to enjoy the memories of Scream Fortress with others.
