EA has just announced all the post-launch contents included in the first season of the upcoming Battlefield 6 which is set to kick off on October 28, a few weeks after the game comes out. The entirety of the first season of Battlefield 6 will play out in three different phases with the first phase named Rogue Ops which will start from the aforementioned date as well and bring a a new map called Blackwell Fields along with a new tactical based mode named Strikepoint.
The new mode will see players in small teams fighting it out across multiple rounds in Battlefield 6 with each player having only one life per round. Also, a new vehicle named APC Traverser Mark 2 will make it’s way into the first phase of season 1 plus three new guns and attachments.
The second phase of Battlefield 6’s first season is called California Resistance and will start from November 18 and bring the Eastwood map with a new mode called Sabotage, along with two new weapons as well. A whole new gameplay feature named Battle Pickups will also be introduced in the second phase of season 1.
And the last phase of first season is named Winter Offensive which will start on December 9 and will pack a limited time map update called Ice Lock Empire State. A limited time event called Ice Lock will also be part of this phase along with a whole new gameplay modifier named Freeze and an Ice climbing Axe.
Battlefield 6’s scheduled comprehensive roadmap makes it abundantly clear that EA is not just aiming to deliver one of the most immersive and engaging first person shooters this year but will also have a plethora of contents for all players which will keep them occupied for a long time.
Battlefield 6 is slated to be released on October 10 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and the PC platform.
