BlockBlasters was a huge blunder when it comes to the trustworthiness of Steam. The reality all along is that the game was always a virus that did harm to your PC, even if you didn’t have any sort of crypto scheme going on. It got so bad that it actually stole the funds of people who were trying to save themselves from Cancer, whoever developed this cyber threat is a terrible person who needs to see the consequences, unfortunately, it seems that whoever was behind this one will never get punished for what they did, so is the post-truth society we live in nowadays.
BlockBlasters harmed thousands
Thankfully the streamer who got wronged by this virus got their cash back thanks to a kind donator who helped them get back in and break the goal. We can hope that the legend is able to get their treatment soon, and I’m sure things will sail smoothly for him from now on. Imagine getting your life savings, the literal thing that can save your life getting snatched away from you right in an instant, it must be terrible, and the person suffered a great deal thanks to this. Rastaland deserves better than to being duped by some scammer, and we wish him the best.
BlockBlasters has disappeared from Steam, but this proves that Valve does not really care about the security of the game, not to mention they also nuked a completely innocent game that had nothing to do, aside from having a similar name. So the person behind Block Blasters cannot really recover from the damage cause from this situation either, it seems that at least a dev will have to go without eating for such a terrible incident. Actions have consequences, and this one resonated in quite the bigger scale, I hope justice can be served for whoever made BlockBlasters.
