Stellar Blade

Stellar Blade is slated to be released on the PC on 11th June, with it’s official system requirements revealed as well and they’re surprisingly lighter and friendlier to a wide range of hardware out there. In fact, even systems close to a decade old will be able to run the game just fine, which is something you don’t get to see very often. So without any further ado, here’s what you need to run Stellar Blade, the 2024 action adventure title developed by Shift Up:

Stellar Blade

If you want to run Stellar Blade at everything maxed out, you’ll need an RTX 3080 which is pretty reasonable considering it’s over 2 generations old at this point. Also the game is significantly less demanding on the CPU side too with a Ryzen 5 3600X as it’s maximum requirement for running at the highest possible visual quality settings.

The Unreal Engine 4 title is also much more mild in terms of the total amount of RAM you’ll need which is a reasonable 16 gigs–something that’s pretty common in gaming right now. The only aspect where Stellar Blade is a bit demanding is the amount of storage space it requires and it’s a hefty 75 GB on SSD, but aside from that, it’s definitely one of the most PC-friendly title released in this year.

However, there’s one thing you need to know before getting this game which is Stellar Blade is going to have Denuvo on it which isn’t really popular with most PC gamers out there. So keep that in mind before buying.

The upcoming PC version of Stellar Blade also comes with a whole suite of PC-specific features such as unlocked framerate, AI upscaling via Nvidia’s DLSS 4 and AMD’s FSR 3, both Japanese and Chinese voiceovers, ultrawide display supports, higher resolution environment textures, and DualSense support for haptic feedback and trigger effects. The game also has a bonus Boss battle in the PC version, along with 25 new in-game outfits for the main character.

Shift Up, the developers of Stellar Blade has also previously stated that they expect far more sales on the PC platform than on the Playstation 5, where the game was first launched.
