Pokemon Center confirmed an English version of Pokemon TCG Classic will release on Nov. 17 for $400.
While you can find the listing on their official site, it’s already showing it as sold out. However, Pokemon Beach reports GameStop will sell it on Nov. 3, along with card shops getting a small supply as well.
What’s interesting about the English release is the price point of $400. When it was announced for Japan last month it had a price point of ¥35,000. Based off current exchange rates that is about $237, so an increase of $160~ is quite substantial.
Anyone curious in the actual product will be unsurprised to learn it’s something of a celebration of Pokemon trading card game’s long history. This includes lovely new foils of some of the most iconic designs in three separate decks and a premium case.
